Snow, snow well it is finally here. We had some come and go the next day or even the next hour but this stuff might actually stick. I hope.

Wooohoooo I got Gabriel's curtains done and man do they look good. Now I have to get his duvet cover made :) I will post pics later today.

So I am finally done all my christmas dishcloths and though some of them did not come out as nice as I wanted, they are good for a first timer.  Now it is time to concentrate on my sewing projects ahead. :)

Happy Halloween everyone!  Has anybody tried the dishcloth I posted?  If you have I would love to hear how it's going.  As for me, still no word on my laptop :( but I remain hopeful.  Let's face it the longer she has it the harder she is trying for me and I am very grateful.

So Halloween is just around the corner and Bill and I have decided not to let Gabriel go trick or treating.  He seems so scared by all the costumes and decorations at this age so we will wait and try next year.  No big deal we still hand out candy to the other little gouls and goblins :)

Grrrrr! so still no word on my laptop yet which means she still has not been able to get the photos off the hard drive and I am going nuts!  On the plus side I finished my first dishcloth and I can see the mistakes but it still looks good.  And I started the second one, at least this time it should go faster :)  I have to figure out a way to post pictures.
I am spending my morning trying to find lessons for Gabriel.  I want to put him into dance and music but there isn't much here and what is here, is expensive.

So I am almost done my first dishcloth and though I can see the mistakes, I think I did well for my first time.  I will post a pic when I am done it.

Wow I can't believe how much I knitting I got done today!  If this keeps up I will have them all done for Christmas :)

So I started knitting my Christmas dishcloths today and had to restart twice!  I am not sure how I did it but I managed to turn 47 stitches into 51!  Guess I am just talented.  So I'm gonna knit as much as I can tomorrow and see how long it will take to make just one.  But with 4 dogs, 5 cats, 1 toddler and a husband not to mention cooking and a house to clean, who knows how long knitting will take me.  Whew! crazy just thinking about it. lol
I have decided to put down my horses cross stitch for a day to try the knitting but I am so addicted I imagine I'll have no choice but to pick it up again tomorrow night.

So now I am excited and happy!  I got some yarn yesterday and I am going to knit up some wonderful Christmas presents for friends and family.  I will post pics as soon as I have one done for everybody and if you want the pattern just let me know I will be happy to post it :)

I am so excited for Christmas already.  I can't wait to decorate now that we are in a real home and not some beat down rental.  The big thing for me is going to be lights outside the house man I can't wait for that!

So today is my first day of blogging.  Hmmm what to say?  Well, first off my computer is getting repaired as we speak (hopefully) but for now I am using my wonderful husband Bill's.
As for this site, well I have to learn how to use it and the first thing to do is find a way to make the background a personal picture.
